AI SOC platform calculator: re-rank twelve platforms with your own weights

Cyber AI Comparison team · Last checked September 2026 · Editorial assessment

What to know

Move the seven sliders to match what matters to your team, and the table re-ranks twelve platforms using our criterion scores. At our published weights the order matches the comparison table, led by Mate Security (7.80), Cortex XSOAR (7.25) and Artemis Security (7.10). No vendor in this guide publishes a full price list on its own site, so the calculator shows each vendor's published pricing basis instead of a cost.

How does the calculator work?

The calculator uses the same 0–10 criterion scores as the rest of the site. Each slider sets how much a criterion counts, from 0 (ignore it) to 10 (counts most). The sliders start at our published weights expressed on the 0–10 scale: 20% becomes 10, 15% becomes 7.5 and 10% becomes 5. Change them and the ranking updates in your browser. Nothing you enter is stored or sent anywhere.

10 / 10

How far the platform goes on a single alert without a human: evidence gathered across tools, pivots, context about the environment, domain coverage (endpoint, identity, email, cloud, insider).

7.5 / 10

Can an analyst read why a verdict was reached: evidence trail, steps taken, tool requests and responses, the ability to challenge or correct a verdict.

7.5 / 10

Breadth of published integrations and alert categories a team can connect on day one.

7.5 / 10

Approval gates, autonomy levels, scoped actions, audit trail, ways to pull autonomy back.

7.5 / 10

How much of an existing SOAR estate (playbooks, integrations, response actions) carries over, can be translated, or can keep running alongside during the move. Incumbents score high here because staying put needs no migration.

5 / 10

Published options such as SaaS, single-tenant, customer cloud tenant, on-premises, data residency.

5 / 10

Can a buyer see prices, tiers or at least the pricing unit before a sales call.

Formula

Your score = (investigation depth × w1 + explainability × w2 + alert source coverage × w3 + human-in-the-loop controls × w4 + transition effort × w5 + deployment options × w6 + pricing transparency × w7) ÷ (w1 + w2 + w3 + w4 + w5 + w6 + w7). Each criterion score is our editorial 0–10 score; each w is your slider value. Equal scores share a rank and are marked (tie). No cost or value figure is computed because no vendor publishes a price.

Current weights: w1 = 10, w2 = 7.5, w3 = 7.5, w4 = 7.5, w5 = 7.5, w6 = 5, w7 = 5

Criterion scores are an editorial assessment from public vendor material, last checked September and October 2026. Pricing text is as published by each vendor or its AWS Marketplace listing when we checked; none publishes a full price list on its own site.

Frequently asked questions

How does the AI SOC calculator work?

Each of the seven criteria has a 0–10 editorial score per platform. Your slider values weight those scores, and each platform's result is the weighted average. The table re-sorts as you move a slider.

Why is there no seat, endpoint or alert-volume input?

Because none of the twelve vendors publishes a price per seat, endpoint or investigation. Dropzone AI and Intezer publish a pricing unit but not the price, so any cost figure would be a guess. The calculator shows what each vendor does publish instead.

Do the default sliders match the site's rankings?

Yes. At the default weights every score matches the comparison table, where Mate Security leads at 7.80. See the comparison table.

Is anything I enter saved?

No. The calculation runs in your browser and nothing is stored or sent.
