Cyber AI Comparison (cyberaicomparison.com) is a buyer's guide published by Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. ("we", "us"). The site has no user accounts, no payments and no comments. You can read every page and use the calculator and comparison tools without telling us anything about yourself. This policy explains the small amount of personal data the site does handle.

Who is responsible for your data

Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. is the controller of the personal data described here. You can reach us through the contact form. We do not offer contact by email, phone or post.

What we collect

We checked the site's code before writing this section. The site handles these categories of data:

  • Contact form messages. If you write to us through the contact form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose and your message. For copyright notices we also receive the extra details the form asks for, such as the work concerned, the URL of the material and your electronic signature.
  • Technical data logged by our hosting provider. Like any website, the servers that deliver the pages automatically record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. This is used to keep the site running and secure.
  • Google Fonts. Pages load the Lora, Sora and Fira Code typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com). When the fonts load, Google receives your IP address and browser details. Google Fonts does not set cookies for this.
  • Browser storage. The calculator, comparison tools and filters keep their state in the page while you use them. They do not write anything to cookies, localStorage or sessionStorage, so nothing is stored on your device after you leave.

The site does not load analytics, advertising scripts, social media widgets or any other third-party tracking.

Why we use it and our legal basis

Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation we rely on our legitimate interests to operate and secure the site and to read and answer the messages you send us. Where the law requires your consent for something, we ask for it first, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Who receives it

We share personal data only with:

  • hosting and infrastructure providers that run the site for us;
  • the form delivery provider that passes contact form messages to us, once the form is connected;
  • public authorities, where the law requires us to disclose it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

International transfers

Data may be processed outside your country with appropriate safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep contact form messages for as long as we need them to handle your request, then delete them. Server logs are kept for a limited period set by our hosting provider and are then deleted automatically.

Your rights

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, receive it in a portable format and withdraw any consent you gave. You can also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority.

If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to delete it, to correct it and to opt out of its sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.

You can also exercise rights you have under other privacy laws that apply to you.

To use any of these rights, send us a message through the contact form and choose the topic "Privacy request". We may ask for details that help us confirm the request is yours.

Children

The site is written for security professionals and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

If the way the site handles data changes, for example if we add a new tool or service, we will update this policy and the date at the top of the page.
