Alegria Media and Consulting Ltd. respects intellectual property. We respond to notices that comply with the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. 512) and to equivalent notices under other laws.

How to send a notice

Send your notice through the contact form and choose the topic "Copyright notice". The form will ask for each item below. A valid notice must include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you say is infringed;
  • identification of the material on this site you say is infringing, with its URL;
  • your contact information, including your email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
  • a statement that the information in the notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notification

If material you provided was removed and you believe that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notification through the contact form. It must include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the material that was removed and where it appeared before removal;
  • a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
  • your name, address and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your address (or, if you are outside the United States, any judicial district in which the service provider may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who sent the original notice or their agent.

We may restore the material 10 to 14 business days after receiving a valid counter-notification, unless the person who sent the original notice tells us they have filed a court action to stop the infringement.

False claims

Under 17 U.S.C. 512(f), anyone who knowingly makes a material misrepresentation in a notice or counter-notification may be liable for damages. Please make sure your notice is accurate before you send it.

Repeat infringers

The site does not accept user uploads. If we publish material contributed by others, we will stop accepting material from anyone who repeatedly infringes copyright.

Forwarding notices

We may forward a notice or counter-notification, including the sender's contact details, to the party concerned.
